Last year we partnered with TMJ4 Milwaukee on a "Group Media Bust." It was one of the last we did without the presence of law enforcement on-site. Waukesha County's DA saw the footage, reviewed the evidence and decided to charge the individuals with solicitation of a minor. It was a tremendous thing for the DA there to do, and illustrated just how tough on predators he is.

Harris upon returning from the sting operation sent the quoted missive at the top to our profile name. He knew what he was doing, which is why he pled guilty to doing so. His sentencing is scheduled for this summer.

Notes from the Contributor, EL Fudge
Wayne P. Harris was a unique case for me. It was my first Group Media Bust that I had worked since becoming a contributor and Wayne was my first bust I had gotten to show up at the bust house.

It began with him making sexual advances and then nearly refusing to meet. I had just about chalked him up to a "lost cause" when, surprise, he showed up at the bust house. He was interviewed and then left the house, sending "me" an apology later that same evening. He was then arrested later and charged. He finally pled guilty to one of the charges and while waiting to be sentenced, must register as a sex offender for life.

I'd like to thank Waukesha County for being pro-active in this case and my verifier Van De Camp for calling this guy. Also, thanks to TMJ4 and John Mercure for exposing him on camera back in April of 2005.

This is our 59th conviction since June of 2004 and our 19th conviction for the year 2006 thus far. We're very pleased with the handling of this case and the resolution. It took well over a year, but Harris is finally going down. Just one of hundreds of individuals still in the court process that we have been waiting on. Thanks to all involved in the successful prosecution of this internet predator.
