The first of our archived busts to end up as a conviction, aticloose aka Chris Waldron hit on us during one of our Milwaukee group media busts. Waldron has now earned a year of his life behind bars and all the usual registered sexual offender restrictions we've come to know quite well.

Thanks to Wisconsin authorities for taking care of this disturbing individual.

Notes from the Contributor, Monterey Jack
Chris Waldron, aka; aticloose, took less than one hour of chat, a few phone calls from the verifier, an appearance at the house set up by WTMJ and many courtroom delay tactics (that I am sure cost him quite a bit of money) to finally plead guilty to one of the three charges he was facing in Waukesha County, WI., the day his second jury trial was to begin. The first one was postponed because the defense had a surprise witness the day that was scheduled to begin, which they had not informed the DA about. (More on that soon)

Waldron was my first bust as a contributor with Perverted-Justice, he was posted on the front page, follow up ensued and DA Paul Bucher decided it was time to bring this predator to justice.

First was his preliminary trial in which Beef and I testified, along with John Mercure from WTMJ. This was a most interesting experience for me. The flight there and arriving at the hotel the night before is a story in itself, one I always smile about when recalling.

The first one called to the stand was Beef who was questioned about PeeJ, who we are, what we do and how we operate. Beef was amazing and did a fantastic job on the stand.

I was next to be called to the stand. DA Bucher asked his questions and took me through the chat, having me read line by incriminating line. Then the defense had their turn. During the defense lawyer's questions, who asked all questions from his seat at the defense table while sitting next to Waldron, I looked at Waldron and noticed he was "staring me down" with a look of "I can't believe I wanked off to this old man". Once we made eye contact, I refused to look away until he did, not in a juvenile way or in any way for the court to notice, but Waldron noticed, and that was all I cared about. To make sure he saw in my eyes that we would not back down from him.

After I finished testifying, the judge decided it was time for a ten minute break, during this break I came out of a door and into a hallway almost bumping into Waldron, who was standing there alone. Just him and I there. Know what he did? Nothing, wouldn't even look at me. The coward.
After John Mercure testified, the judge found sufficient evidence to take the case to trial.

The first jury trial was scheduled for May, 2006. The day of the trial the defense came up with a surprise witness. A computer forensic expert. I was called and told NOT to get on the plane and asked to detail any expense this delay had caused for me. The defense would have to pay for those expenses.

Not too long after this I received in the mail a copy of their expert's six page report and was asked by DA Bucher for a reply. After talking with Maxwell House and Xavier, I emailed my reply to Mr. Bucher.

The second time the jury trial was to start, I got the call again hours before I was to fly out of town and was told he had pleaded to one of the counts.

How good does our evidence stand up in court? Even a six page report from a computer forensic expert couldn't find anything good enough to help their client. That's pretty damn good.

A year in prison and 1 1/2 years probation is nice, but I was hoping for more.

Kudos goes out to Sarah Lee for verifying this perv, Beef for his excellent testimony and support, John Mercure of WTMJ for exposing the perv, DA Paul Bucher for taking the case to it's conclusion and last but not least, the follow up crew who found this predator.

This is our 108th conviction since June of 2004 and our 68th conviction for the year 2006 thus far.
