The greatest thing about the website is the following: When we come across a predator like William Meyer here we make phone calls to police. Sometimes we can't find law enforcement that is able to take the case, either due to their caseload or other considerations. In those instances we simply post the individual, noting the inability to find LE that will take him pre-posting. Then, once posted, we'll get an email from another LE that we've never come into contact with wanting to... yep, arrest and prosecute.

That's what happened to William Meyer. Not only did he go through the process of being posted on our website last May, not only did he end up having Followup performed on him... but we were contacted by proactive Law Enforcement in Kennewick, Washington who wanted to arrest and prosecute based on the chat-logs alone. That's what we call \"Hitting for the cycle.\"

William was charged and pled guilty to solicitation in a complex agreement with the DA. He will be required to undergo at least a year of sexual offender counseling at his own expense (with the counselor making the determination of whether more years are needed) as well as being on probation for two full years. If he is so much caught even chatting in any kind of chat-room... to anyone at all, underage or adult, he goes to jail, directly to jail and does not get to pass \"lol.\"

Notes from the Contributor, Almond Joy
Will found me in a Washington State Romance room. He was quite the chatter and was willing to drive across Washington state to meet \"Violet\". Will was explicit in his wants with the \"13 year old child\" he believed he was chatting with. He played very fast and loose with the chat and having his children around, I am very happy that the proactive LE in Kennewick, Washington chose to prosecute this off the chat log alone.

This is our FOURTH conviction in Washington. Our first conviction in Washington State came in late June of this year. That means in the last three-and-a-half months, we've had four convictions in Washington alone! We love Washington State! This marks our 34th conviction in 22 different states since June of 2004. This is our 27th conviction thus far in 2005. Yes, that is a ridiculously cool and obscenely great number. We know! If we average just one conviction per thirty days over the next ninety days, we'll have hit 30 convictions for the sum total of 2005. Can we do it? Just wait and see.
