Nah, we totally forgot. What a scumbag.

Justin Smith met the nation last night on Dateline NBC and now today the nation gets to read exactly what he said prior to showing up. Pretty good timing, eh? This former Nickelodeon employee has a pretty disgusting chat-log, with copious amounts of porn sent to our decoy and more sex talk than you can shake a stick at.

Smith was sentenced to five years probation, sixty days caltrans cleanup, sexual offender counseling, no internet usage, no contact with minors and no viewing or ownership of any type of pornography. He also gets to register for life as a sex offender.

Notes from the Contributor, Gloria Jean
It's my opinion that Justin Smith represents one of the most dangerous types of predators. He's friendly and charming, he lures the child into sense of comfort and trust, he evaluates his risks and takes steps to avoid detection. He exposed himself and masterbated on webcam, he had a sexually charged and explicit conversation, and he sent over FIFTY links to explicit adult pornography videos, all to someone he believed to be a 13 year old child. More importantly, he followed through on his intent to have sex with a child and showed up at our Long Beach bust house. That's purely predatory. I hope that parents who read this exchange will pay close attention to Justin's risk assessment, and take countermeasures for their own children.

I'd like to thank the Long Beach Police department for their tireless efforts, with special thanks going to Detective Strohman and District Attorney Grace Rai.

This is our 139th conviction since June of 2004 and our eighteenth conviction for 2007 so far. This marks eighteen convictions in January 2007, which is a site record for most convictions in one month. An average of over one internet predator conviction every two days. Nice work, team!
