briana_jade14 (1:37:39 AM): oh ya hehe
    briana_jade14 (1:37:43 AM): i nevr trid that
daddieforu (1:37:56 AM): maybe one day
daddieforu (1:38:25 AM): im not into serious bondage or anything
daddieforu (1:39:02 AM): ya know id just like to hang with you n be your friend
What a juxtaposition those last two sentences are. Asking a child about bondage experiences is such a friendly thing to do. Who wouldn't want to 'just hang out' with daddieforu. That's rhetorical.

Dennis Ramsey was arrested as part of our sting with Ft. Myers police in the spring of 2006. After being arrested, he told police that he knew what he was doing was wrong but he hadn't had sex for a few years... which apparently means you solicit a minor if you see one. He swore to police that if they hadn't been there, he wouldn't have done anything. Yet he showed up and accepted the decoy's invitation into the house.

As his case was working its way through the system, Ramsey and his public defender played some games to avoid justice, in our opinion. In early 2008, it was claimed that Ramsey had suffered amnesia and that he couldn't remember anything that had occurred prior to December, 2007, including the charges against him from 2006. How convenient. It was claimed that he was diagnosed with dissociative disorder, and he had to be evaluated by doctors to see if he was competent enough to stand trial. Apparently he was found competent because he went to trial in March of 2009.

He was convicted by a jury of his peers of attempted lewd and lascivious battery. He appealed the jury's verdict, but the jury's decision was affirmed by the higher court in 2010. He was sentenced to one year and 9 months in prison, and he is registered as a sex offender.

This is our 524th conviction since June of 2004 and our 24th conviction for 2010.
