Deepak Bist wasn't kidding. He's not a good person.

Bist was arrested as part of our Flagler Beach sting. He showed up at the sting house to have sex with 13-year-old Jennah, but had the surprise of his life when he was met with cameras and then police.

Bist, who moved to the US from Nepal four years before his arrest, was charged with Attempted Lewd or Lascivious Battery and Computer Pornography and Child Exploitation. He received a sentence of 21 months in prison followed by three years of sex offender probation and sex offender registration.

Bist and his attorney filed an appeal, and expressed a desire to appeal the conviction all the way to the Florida Supreme Court (which they did). The lower court's decision was affirmed in all appeals, but by then Bist had disappeared. He had been allowed to remain free on bond pending the appeals. When an warrant to surrender was issued after the last appeal was lost, Bist was gone.

He still remains wanted by the State of Florida.
